A downloadable book

Terminator is an interactive story that was created for The Gamebook Zine's first ever Micro-Gamebook Jam. I missed the deadline but it has now been accepted as a late entry - it's certainly worth checking out the other submissions to the Jam. If you are new to gamebooks, then just start at screen 1, choose one of the two numbers at the bottom, and then turn to the screen with the same number.

24th March update - I've added in the missing text for 29 (it's amazing how you fail to spot errors), and the pdf file is now okay.

What the critics say:

'Just downloaded but don't actually understand what it is'

'my main thought was one of confusion'

'I just tried this out. Ended with a Kaboom, twice! This game certainly gives a very eery, creepy feel trying to deal with this freakish, weirdly perceptive computer prompt. Nice work!'

You've certainly come up with something novel and quite fiendish.

If you haven't messaged Simon about getting your game into the Gamebook Jam, along with sending him a copy of the game, it might be an idea to do so.

Thanks. Yes, I should send Simon a message.

Well I see you have it sorted now
